Yea, i know this sounds very wierd. But its really much deeper than that. If there is some place out there that keeps tracks of the passengers leaving on flights (to out of country, city) here from Airports in New Delhi, then please tell. I know possibilites of this is 9 out of 100, but there's a still a chance....
If it helps, we are trying to find a missing person (wo has run away from home, with ' passports ' ) who may have boarded a flight.

thanks for any help

thanks for any help (and don't ask why i need it)

The airlines Duty Officer should have access to the Flights Passenger Manifest - check with the airlines office - tho I doubt they will just give you this info without proper clearance. If you have made a Police report then present that to the Duty Officer.

right thanks for the info, we have loadged the fir thing in the police station, we'll be going to the airport tonight to find out more.

chennai airport usually pastes the manifest of each flight that arrives.. so contacting the airport authorities would be your best bet. good luck

As per a norm, the Airlines do keep a log of the ppl who have boarded the various flights. But, this information is strictly confidential. This information can be got only if the officials agree and you may have to take police help.
Besides, the airport always keeps a record of all passengers as they collect the tickets/boarding pass etc.

Hope this helps.

As for the clearances which will be needed, that's all prepaired. Complaint/Fir has been lodged last night at 11 pm, the search is active, we'll be giving it in newspapers and all too, and hopefuly we find some usefull info tonight at the airport to check the logs of passengers, cops will be with us.

shouldn't be saying this but now i know what do they mean by family crisis....

As you filed an FIR, it shouldnt be too much of a problem for the police to get the info, but considering indian police who knows...
anyway care to tell us what exactly happened?

Did the missing person happen to take ATM/Credit cards?
And as for passport, well that is only necessary in international flights (tho even on domestic u will need some ID, so unless this person can grab some fake ID, probably will use genuine only), so does said person have the Visa of any foreign countries? Emigration will not allow anyone thru without seeing a valid visa as far as I know(unless no visa is required for the the country). Also, if u have a copy of that person's passport, see whether he has ECNR (Emmigration check not required). If the person does not have this stamped on their passport, they cannot leave the country without permission, which takes a couple of months to get.
Also - does said person want to go to some specific place? Cos if it is domestic, well trains are much cheaper for someone on the run.

Delhi + no visa = NEPAL

My parents decided to leave me home....oh well. Its 11 pm, they are still at the airport, called them up, they're saying they'll now block the person if she decides
catch a plane, but well, what a drama, she ran off with a man (besides having 2 children), she has a U.S Visit Visa.....oh crap shouldn't have said that. Hope it goes alright soon. Possibilites are that she may go to another city then take a flight out of here. If only we knew the guy she was seeing better.

By any chance, my parents shouldn't see this thread, they'll kill me for discussing things up on the internet.

And value it guys, don't take this normal life for granted, i used to laugh at these statements, but now i realise, after seing the look on her children and her husband, and she happened to be a 'very' close relative of mine, it just 'sucks' the pain of losing a close family member at such a young age.

Crap.
Param7 I think u had better get this thread closed b4 u say too much. I guessed what the problem was b4 u made ur last post (heard of a very similar situation once), but that last one pretty much sewed it up.

yea, closed and deleted too...
and chill man, things happen which are not suppose to, but there is nothing u can do about it, can u? so watch a good movie or something, enjoy life, and if u need any more hel, we are all here to help ya out..
