Laptops Does Dell give international warranty cover on laptops?

I know it used to but recently the shopkeepers were saying that even if you buy the laptop outside India you have to buy the warranty in India separately. Is this true. If so what is the warranty amount?

as far as i know next business day and part warranty is coevered in international but no clue or idea abt complete cover

Complete cover + Collect and return or return to depot or any other warranty = not valid in india

True, but Renegade has a latitude notebook E6400
for Inspirons,Studios,vostros ... not transferrable
Latitudes or precisions ..... yes based on the sales terms and agreement signed with customer, which mostly is yes

This info is for someone else who is looking to buy a laptop. It will most likely be an Inspiron if it is dell. So what all is excluded if it is not complete cover?

If complete cover is not present, no damaged item will be replaced. Even if one of the keys of your keyboard pops out, you will need to pay for it. Hardware warranty would only cover malfunctioned components.

To reiterate only NBD warranty is transferrable.
