Ok, heres my system spec...

Motherboard : G31M-ES2L

RAM: 4GB DDR2RAM(2 sticks)

processor: Core2duo E7500 2.9Ghz

i just bought a GTX 560 Ti for 13,000Rs and a Cooler Master 350W Plus for 2100Rs and wanted to know if the Graphic card works fine on the 350W PSU.

cuz when i start the PC and run speed fan the Hard drive, CPU and GPU gets heated up very quickly..

so, i just wanted to know if there is something wrong with the Graphic card or the system is heating up because of insufficient power supply?

Change your PSU, period. The PSU you have is insufficient to power your GPU and will cause damage in the long run to your mobo, CPU and GPU and all other system parts. Try to get the PSU changed to something more beefier, ask the shop owner to give an upgrade as it's insufficient for your GPU.

Hello Suhasrao,

The 350W is insufficient for your need. You will need a beefier and better speced power supply. Ask your dealer to exchange the 350W for a GX-450W. Don't run your system on insufficient power, it will cause damage to all components.

avoid cm extreme power series.. it has a bad reputation on a no. of forums.. better get corsair vx 450w.. it should be available with him. if not, then go for fsp saga II 500w or seasonic s12II 430w.. if the shopkeeper is adamant on getting the cm psu and nothing else, then try and get him to refund the money of the 350w psu and then order corsair or some other worthy unit online ..

i've got CM Extreme power plus 600w and its working fine..

thanks for ur help guys..

Even after the members suggested not to buy that crap why did you bought it? Please, i seriously suggest you if possible please change your psu and go for a Corsair VX450 or a CMGX450 or any other. Please avoid Extreme Series.

There is a Simple logic you have to understand here. You are using an GTX 560 PSU and you are supplying just 350w?

As other Members suggested Replace your Existing PSU with 450w one!

I feel sorry for you. That power supply is terrible and one of most disregarded ones in the community thanks to its failures.

A good read - link

i don't think theres going to be any problem cuz im not using too many hardware, just 1 hard drive, 1 DVDRW writer, 1 cabinet fan, GTX 560 ti, Core2duo and thats all...
