Does Pacenet have 256k unlimited plans?

As the topic says does pacenet have 256k unlimited plans in mumbai??

as far as their site goes it doesnt mention any 256k unlimited plans but i have heard some ppl say that pacenet does privide 256k unlimted plans....

just wanna confirm

and also has the service of exatt improved???
coz since my mobo went bust almost 3 weeks back....i have no access to broadband from home...so just wanna know if anything has changed with exatt?

yup , they have started this month . These rates are from my local provider of pacenet.

64 kbps - 650 Rs

128 kbps - 1000 ( im on this , getting 15KB/sec )

256 kbps - 1500

awesome prices considering they are super isp ... least downtimes and they give what they promise :D

owww...I was hoping it actually is 700/-, that would have made these guys too to drop their rates...

Anyway, 1500/- (pacenet) for 256 K Unlimited is a tad too expensive...isn't it?
 
hathway seems to be cheaper.
atleast here in mumbai.

many of my friends have hathway.

I pay 600Rs for 48kbps unlimted pacenet [Very costly must say , but no options]

Quad , ive written the new rates a few posts back. Why are you paying 600 for 48 kbps when for 650 u get 64 kbps unlimited . call up pacenet and enquire.

well 1500 seems a lot , but considering there is no airtel and hathway isnt doing well in the suburb area , pacenet is good. Plus we got LAN sharing too which is great if u like lan gaming and want to share stuff at 2 MB/sec :hap2:.
Customer Service from my local provider is good too. During the days when the mumbai flood took place , they gave us 10 extra days when for the 10 days the net was off.Biggest thing is reliability of connection. In a month , max my net goes down is like 2 or 3 times and gets solved the same day or next morning.

Ive been talking to my local provider of pacenet who offers hathway and pacenet and also cable tv ... This is what he said
Rates are going to go even further down in the next 6 months , especially if airtel , reliance enters and mtnl is going to drop the rates too once they launch their cable tv on broadband :ohyeah:
 
hope somethin happens,hathay jus came 2 my area in mumbai but i have my local isp 7STAR,the most fked up GUNDA isp,lol they started cuttin hathway wires

thus i cant get theyre connection,which was 1000 bux for 256 unltd,i pay 850 for 64k unltd here :(

haha... 7-star.. one of my friends can't get nuff of those guys:P
well.. as regards downtimes.. hathway fares well too in this regard.. i mean in this past month and half.. i havent had more than 5-6 hrs of downtime...

main problem with crapway is speed.. but i figured out most 256k providers give arnd 180-220k.. and mumbai ISPs don't exactly outsource their customer care depts. to ibm :P

pretty satisfied here... considering that crapway uses DOCSIS(cable net) and can provide video on demand, tv on broadband etc... in the future..

BTW whn i got Pacenet...thy told me thy had changed thier plans nd the 64kbps was converted to 72kbps nd charge 750 pm ....is tht rite??

get speeds of 10 - 11KB constant no matter wht :)

gimmee ny HUB IPs if u know, cuz on Borg i dnt c ny1
