Storage Solutions Does Samsung honours International warranty?

Hi,
I purchased a Samsung SSD from ebay. The seller mentioned 5 year warranty. Foolish of me at the time of purchase I did not read carefully. After delivery I got to know that the warranty is to be provided by seller. The defective item will have to be shipped to the seller who in turn will send the product to USA for warranty.
Now does anybody know if Samsung India honours international warranty for their storage products?

Samsung does not offer International warranty. Their warranty is limited to items bought in India through their authorized channels.

May I know who handles their RMA here in India?

For SSD RMA the procedure is too complicated. I have gone through it and its painfully slow.
First of all they require you to email at care.pack@samsung.com and expect a delay of 15 days for a reply which is mostly a cc to someone in their internal department. And then the discussion goes on for about 2 months after which you may expect to get a resolution.
