Does Vista generate a (new) Disk Signature on install ?

Vista uses a Disk Signature to locate partitions. What I want to know is : if the MBR already has a Disk Sig, does Vista generate a new Disk Sig when it is being installed or does it use the existing one ?

For eg, if I have previously installed Windows XP on a disk, even after formatting all the partitions, the MBR retains whatever value is present in the Disk Sig. If I now install Vista on the same disk will this value change ?

bro..u need to search in Google..and lots of solution will comes in front of u.....

and MBR.. goes to default mode when ya format ya disk..(primary disk)
and when ya install another os,,its jz take record that os ...\m/
