Does Xiaomi India warranty cover rooting/flashing?

Asked this some time back but since no reply, I'll ask again - Does Xiaomi India warranty cover rooting/flashing or is it the same as the others, viz. rooting/flashing is not covered under warranty.

Just learned that apps cannot be moved to sd, even on JB. Hence rooting might become critical.

If no one has any idea about this, then can anyone at least say how much space will a slightly heavy game like asphalt 8 or fifa take up. The Redmi seems to have 6gigs space available.

^^ It probably doesnt have 6gigs free, should be around 4.5-5 gb.

Think you've got your answer by now. Still........Seemingly has Dragontrail, Asahi's answer to Corning's GG.

Asphalt 8 takes around 2GB of space.

Rooting doesnt void any warranty. Xiaomi offer developers roms which are pre rooted. You can also root yourself and unroot whenever you wanna visit service center if you think they will not honor the warranty. Its by far the most easiest phone for me to root it.

I have installed Max Payne from Google play store and it took 1.5gb+. Hope this helps.

I dont remember z4root days, but its as easy as copy the root.zip to your phone. Go to system setting-updates and apply the zip. Reboot and rooted lol
Same way you can unroot by copying unroot.zip to phone and same steps.
