now how do i get it to point to the forums where its hosted ....

I guess you should buy the Domain Name forwarding service too and point it to that site

i am using a free service called zoneedit

should i buy a service for this? isnt much on the other hand , 1 $ only.

Let me suggest

whatever you doing is totally inadvisable.

Buy a cheap hosting like $3-$4 a month (i can get you one) where you'll have Control panel (cPanel) etc. enuff space to **** on .. and host blog forum etc whatever under your real domain ..not any freaky subdomain.

I would suggest get the phpbb mysql backup and get a hosting under the domain you just bought ....

I can even get you free hosting...atleast get into your domain..

In your control panel look for forwarding or nameserver changes.

As you mentioned that you are using ZoneEdit, there will be an option for "WebForward" in the ZoneEdit control panel. Enter your URL there.
