I had made some donation for the following site last year :)

Got call from today to sponsor a girl, and am also planing to do so :)

can anyone check the authenticity of the NGO, so that i can donate without any worry :D
 
How about finding a poor child in your own neighborhood and sponsoring him/her? 100% of the money gets used, you get to monitor the progress and take corrective action when needed.

I know nothing about vidyaranya, but I am very suspicious of organized charities. I wouldn't donate until I can see their work (and if possible donate my time too).

generally sponsor a class every year from my mom govt school, since i had donated to them last year, and they called me this year again asking for donation, thought of asking about it :)
