CPU/Mobo Double boot

I have P5Q-E mobo with latest bios updates. The thing is that the mobo double boots on a cold start. If I shutdown my pc but don't switch off the mains...........then the pc starts with single boot sequence.

This thing happened with older BIOS, default settings (no overclock), updated BIOS and even with machine overclocked.

Only solution is to not to turn off the mains. So my questions is........is this normal for a P45 mobo and is there any work around/soluton and is it harmful to the system components?

My system runs perfectly without any problem n even o'clocks perfectly, just this double boot is annoying. Looked over the net and only found that it has something to do with "straps".

Haven't faced this kinda behaviour with any of my previous mobos be it intel, asus, gigabyte, xfx etc.
