Audio Doubt regarding charging a usb music player

Hi,
Will I be able to charge a sansa clip+ music player via USB when the USB device driver for windows is disabled..?
I have to charge it at workplace.....hence the question.

Regards,
Harsha
PS: I'm new to this forum...any help would be appreciated.

I suppose your office has disabled USB on PC's to prevent people from copying stuff right?

You should be able to charge your player since USB is disabled by software, but power to USB is always there. So you wouldn't have any problem charging it.

BTW where and for how much did you get your Clip+ for?

If the USB doesn't charge the player, you could very well get AC adaptors that charge USB devices. I'm not sure about the reliability or availability though.

Motorola handsets generally have mini-usb as charging socket. So you could also buy a motorola charger to charge your player, if you don't find a an AC adapter.
