hey all,

here is my samsung ssd score.
is it about correct or anything needs to be done.
its hovering around 23 gb empty and sometimes i notice it dips to 20 and in few days it again goes back to 23 or so.

I was wondering maybe I should install intel 520 which I have not used and its 120 gb .

is it within limits? or needs some tweaks.
only part I am not happy is vanishing and re appearing space and slowdown sometime.

The read speeds are okay but the write is not. Something is not quite right here. Can you try a disk cleanup. Also you may disable the pagefile and hibernation since they take up a lot of space (Please disable the pagefile only if you have enough ram, I have 16 gig so I have got it disabled)

I have already disabled page file and hibernate file as well.
I have 8gb ram installed so those two are already deleted.

What you suggest ?

Problem I face is on resume from sleep mode.
System hangs an I have to kill the explorer.exe process

Is it ssd at fault ??

Your speeds are fine. The 64GB drive is slow :P. I'm assuming there was more free space when you benched in January compared to now, which will impact speeds. For varying free space, you can probably try Space Sniffer to see where your space is going.

Hope you're running the latest firmware. Did you do a clean Win install on the SSD?

Yes eddy bro.
Always fresh install with ssd.

You are right it was having more free space at January benchmark.

Even now also its 24 gb empty out 59 gb.

What I don't like is , system stutters at time.
every now and then system will hang on resuming from sleep mode.

Which motherboard? Does it have setting to cause only S1 mode sleep? Try S1 sleep and see if this still reproduces. On one of my systems, it happens if I connect the SSD to the JMicron controller with S3 sleep. S1 sleep works fine.

It's in sell latitude e6520 laptop.
It runs qm67 chipset and I am afraid their is no setting in bios for sleep mode.
At least I could not find one.
