i am thinking of getting an atom kit for dowloading and playing games on lan at home with my brother namely cs source , age of empires , nfs mw
i m getting atom kit - 2.9 k and either 1gb ddr2 ram - 0.7k or 512mb - 0.3k
i already have the other stuff

should i go for it ?
will it work for me ?
if yes then 512mb is enough or 1gb ?
 
I dont think a atom config can play NFS MW that well.

My lappy with C2D 1.73Ghz, 1GB RAM, Intel 945 chipset struggled with NFS MW. Was playable only till blacklist 9 or 10. Once the faster cars came in it would lag like hell.
 
well i need it mstly for age of empires nd cs cause i can race multiplayer on my ps3 or ps2
