Download speed dropping!

Friends,

I need your advise. I have a 1.1mbps DSL connection. i use internet prepaid card 1mbps.

only few days back i had been noticing the download speed dropped to 70 kB/sec. I use to get 135 - 150kB/sec. For 100mb file it was able to download in 15 min.....now its able to download 35 min.

do let me know whats happening?

ami missing tweaking or something else.

Step 1. Talk to your service provider and report the proble to them.

Amongst other things, go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and check the speeds. Also, download a file from Microsoft.com to verify the slow speed.

Thanks alsiladka. the problem was not the dsl connetion . it was prepaid interent card company that provided interenet had some bandwidth issue.
