Yes the forum backend is changed and no there are no such tools. The skin designers would go out of business if that were the case. That 2012 skin was barely supported on VB by the developer.

Yes the alternative is to have a look at the most popular or most downloaded skins and choose one. I can only give you options... :artist:

If it was barely supported i never had any probs with it.

So whats it going to take to get that developer to port that scheme over to XF. I have to imagine he/she would be pleased that there would be demand.

I can't do without that skin, its the official look of TE to me. Unique, style wise among other forums for many years now :(

The way it is now just looks odd and unfamiliar. I don't where i am or whom i'm even talking to. Everybody kinda looks the same.

Well, to be honest, after Elements (back in 2008-09) I liked this theme only. :D This is so neat and clean.. NO reason to hate it or find it imperfect. Glad we left vB, IPB back.

No such setting for individual users currently. I doubt if any modern forum software has that option now. I could be wrong.

If he was not interested in updating on the previous platform then I doubt he would want to port it to another platform. Well for that look he first has to port it and then I have to put in around 12 hours of work into it. It heavily customized by me in terms of look.

Another option is to get some skin designer to port it for us. This will take a few hundred dollars. It is much cheaper to just buy a $30 readymade skin.

BTW the Dark Theme does not shows the page count (only shows when cursor scrolled over) and the difference in read and unread post is no differences at all some color contrast can be used
 
@Renegade The option is there in vB and even in IPB I suppose. I would prefer at least 40 posts per page. If there cannot be a custom setting per user, then at least a global setting throughout the board would be a good option, if most members are in favour of it.

Just click on Reply on all the posts you want to quote, post will be quoted and appended automatically :-) As simple as that.

The moment I click on Reply, I come to the quick reply box at the bottom. If it was that simple, I wouldn't have asked :)
