Dear Members,

Firstly, our apologies for an unscheduled downtime. We've managed to somehow ruin your Sunday afternoon. :P

Anyway, let's get back to business again. The purpose of the downtime was mainly to iron out the remaining known bugs and finally put this awesomely good looking theme to use.

Incase, you haven't noticed, TE has got a new theme, finally! :clap:

BTW, all of this was done in a kind of hurry as we didn't want to prolong the downtime, it may have bugs which skipped our attention.

In case you manage to notice any, do bring it to our notice by posting in this thread or by PM'ing any of the administrators (that's myself - Apex, Safin or Saiyan).

Oh yes, Saiyan has been promoted. Congrats Saiyan! :hap2:

Downtime Update - 5th June 2011

Bug/Issue list :-

  • Old theme option - to be offered only after Safin fixes the bugs in it
  • [strike]URL link not highlighted[/strike] - Subtle change in color, should be distinguishable now.
  • [strike]New Tech Posts/New Market Posts[/strike] - Added under Quick Links dropdown in top navigation bar.
  • List under Notifications not visible
  • [strike]Welcome User to be rearranged[/strike] - Done.
  • Customise profile not working in Chrome plus and IE9
  • Thread icons not distinguishable
  • Mobile theme

I love the new theme. The only thing not perfect is that edges are not rounded. Rest everything is beautiful :-)

Yeah, the new theme looks awesome. But please, the ads after the first post is really irritating.

Love the new theme but my "customize profile" is blank, using chromeplus.

Hey since you've asked to report bugs in this thread, I hope you wouldn't mind some feedback.

The "New Posts" icon being the same color as the "No New Posts" icon is a little less than helpful. I hope you'd consider changing it to be a little more visually distinctive.

Don't know if this is a new bug or addition with the new theme, (Red box)

Check the Line ate the end of the post in the pic, it seems to appear at random locations/posts and stays there when I view the thread.

I think this might be a bug too.(Blue Box) Preview after putting a pic in the post.

same with IE 9. customize profile fills empty space between main page header and normal profile options. no options available to change.

Also missing the "New Tech post" option now.
