Drag and drop for your web pages

A Cross-browser JavaScript DHTML Library which adds Drag Drop functionality to layers and to any desired image, even those integrated into the text Drag & Drop Image flow.
To convert images or layers to draggable DHTML items, simply pass their names/IDs to a function call 'SET_DHTML()'.
Optional commands allow to change and customize the behaviour of Drag&Drop items in multiple ways, e.g. to limit the range the drag&drop item can be moved within, to specify the cursor, or even to clone or multiply drag'ndrop images. Plus, this DHTML Drag&Drop JavaScript provides an easily understandable DHTML API and extended DHTML capabilities, as for instance to move, resize, hide and show again drag drop elements, or to copy images dynamically. This DHTML Drag Drop JavaScript Library is also capable of writing to layers or changing their background color. Moreover, wz_dragdrop.js admits easy access to the properties of DHTML items (co-ordinates, size, name etc.) for extended scripting, or e.g. to write these values into <input type="hidden"> form elements to transmit them to the server. DHTML API reference.
The idea behind wz_dragdrop.js was not merely to drag around some layers or images on a page in IE only, but also to be a cross-browser clientside API for interactive webpages and webbased applications.
If you use this DHTML & Drag 'n Drop JavaScript, it's appreciated Drag&Drop Image but not required to link back to this page.
