my friend is buying a ATI 4670 for his new rig. Is it possible to play dragon age origins on the same ? His budget for the GPU is 5k. so even if he can't , not an issue. But just wanted to know out of curiousity.

@pom assuming his Monitor is less than 22" (1680*1050) then the card will give playable performance in Medium settings. if its 22" or more then ask him to save some money and get atleast a 4850.

also post his CPU, RAM specs so that members here can help u better.

Umm...dont wanna hijack the thread but would it work on my system

AMD Athlon X2 240 2.8ghz

will run with no problem and decent fps with all settings set to high.

^^Graphics of this game is simple yet realistic, it's not much of a GPU hungry and yes it will surely work on your rig at that resolution for sure.

After playing hours of Dragon Origins, i would like to say it's the best RPG i've ever played

Hello, Ive got phenom x3 2.1ghz with HD 4650. Will this play okay at 1680 x 1050 very well on a 22" monitor or will I have to play on a lower res? Any help would be great, thank you.

lol my onboard ati hd 3200 can play it very well on low settings. It's even playable on medium-high settings.

Got my ATI 4650 for $65.00 pcie 1gb. Works FANTASTIC, plays Left 4 dead 2, dragon age, sims 3, and oblivion all medium-high settings (I can't tell a difference in graphics from medium to high anyway lol). Very happy with it. You can see my specs above, nothing to fantastic and plays all these games wonderfully.
