heh yea its so stupid. almost all the companies making lan cards seem to supply floppies even today, including D-Link. i paid about 400 for that lan card and i expected it to come with a CD but no. thankfully win xp auto detected it correctly. doesnt it do the same with your Zebby lan card?

my windows xp auto detects it as a new hardware found , it doesnt install any drivers !! thats why I need this driver lol .. I have tried Realtek drivers but it refused to install that lmao .

You dont need drivers for a LAN Card.
Makes no diff xD.

lol. where did you get that idea from? i know many lan cards that refuse to work unless you install the exact driver that came with it. im talking out of personal experience btw.

I used to finger my support staff for that...:ohyeah:
post a request @ their website... they should reply.

Which realtek drivers did u install? Check the chip on it, and download the drivers for those. Otherwise instead of all the headache just go a friend who has a floppy drive and burn a cd man.

I tried the very latest Realtek drivers , dont remember which one .. i checked out the LAN card , there is a realtek chip soldered thats why I tried installing that initially .. it didnt work damn ..

hmm ad1, kya bolra tu re? u dont need drivers? who else will drive the LAN card eh b1tch?

mafia talk aside, you need drivers for everything, INCL CPU, just that most of the popular ones are already included in ur OS. LInux/ WIndows/ whatever.

most likely its not a authentic realtek chipset...no surprises considering its zebronics..same happens with similar ghaati brands like intex/qhmpl etc ....some fked up chipset like asound..eddy had posted abt this some time back...get a decent brand like dlink/dax/pronet..authentic realtek 8139d...as goldie said if its a realtek 8139 series card no drivers r required in win xp..if u look carefully at the chipset the realtek logo printing/embossing is of a very inferior quality....very easy to tell apart when compared to a orig. one...similar to dupli hynix rams
