My dad is driving from Delhi -Goa and then Goa - Coimbatore in a few days. He uses an iPad with a BSNL 3G card. The connection is very slow most of the times here in Delhi. He wants to buy another 3G sim from a private operator which he will use on his trip. He will continue using this sim later in Delhi. The BSNL sim will be used as a backup for the holiday and for later. Which operator would you guys suggest and why? I know that like BSNL, Reliance also provides iPad specific plans with a microsim. But, Airtel and Vodafone have a roaming agreement. I've also read that these 3G roaming agreements are being questioned! Vodafone has a very spotty 3G service in Delhi. I've tried using Reliance 3G on someone's iPad and it was really quick! Not sure about Airtel though!
