Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy a DSLR Cam.... May be entry level... just for clicking good snaps.... I dont know much of photography but still would like to...

I have selected canon 1000d, 1100D, 550d, or nikon 3110d or something...

I would prefer 1000d as its entry level with good clear pictures..

New 1 canon 1000d with 18-15mm lens on ebay is 19-20k without discount... So please quote accordingly...

Buget: approx 15k

No buddy i am not... if you can see the deals of the week you will see Canon 1000d brand new with 2 years warranty + 18-55 lens is available for 20k. This price is without any coupons or anything.. so i guess 15k for Canon 1000d is good enuf... Also would like to tell you that there are ppl on this form who were willing to sell their Canon 1000d for 15k with IS lens when it was 22k.

The best is increase your budget,

Never saw any dslr or even second hand at that price...

I also prefer you to increase your budget 10+k and get nikon D3100, really a great cam for beginners... Menus and settings are organized for noobs

Buddy i dont mind increasing the budget... Bt if i have to increase the budget i would better go for a new 1... hope u understand and u will also agree on the same. New Canon 1000d is available for 20000Rs (without any coupons or winter offer) so quoting 15000Rs for a used one is not all bad price.. and if i want to increase i can also buy Canon 1100d available at Chroma for 27.5k and 33000rs - 34000rs for Brand new Canon 550d..
