Guys i use Windows XP.
Now, i want to dual boot my PC with Windows 7. Before doing so, i have few questions which i want to ask.

1) Please tell me the procedure to do so.
2) Will Dual booting Lowers the performance of an individual OS?
3) Can i share an Application of one OS with other? To be more precise can i share the antivirus of XP with 7 also or can i share a game installed in XP with 7??
4) Will dual boot be ok with my config??
5) Do i need to install my GPU Drivers again over 7?

I know some questions are really silly but cant take any risk......i want complete info regarding this subject thats why asking these many questions

1) Please tell me the procedure to do so. --- simply install windows 7 in another partition, assuming XP i installed in drive C, install 7 in drive D

2) Will Dual booting Lowers the performance of an individual OS? --- no definitely not

3) Can i share an Application of one OS with other? To be more precise can i share the antivirus of XP with 7 also or can i share a game installed in XP with 7?? --- no you can't share application between, only the portable executables can be shared e.g.: Real Temp and other application which don't need installation. Even some games will work without installing them in Win 7. But definitely no for AV,browser etc.

4) Will dual boot be ok with my config?? --- Yes there won't be any problem, FYI i am running triple boot setup on my system

5) Do i need to install my GPU Drivers again over 7? --- Yes all your drivers like chipsets, network, audio and GPU drivers have to be installed
