CPU/Mobo Dual Core CPU Identification

Hi guys,

I was just reading this post here: http://forums.amd.com/index.php?showtopic=64936

It specifically states that:

POST-INSTALL:

Verify dual-core action.
Right click My Computer, and click Properties. Click the Hardware tab, and then click the Device Manager button. Expand Processors... you should see not one, but two entries. This means everything is in order.

But in my device manager it appears as:



Is it alright?

Remember I am using a 64 bit server OS.

Dude... check the "processor" in Device manager it will show two processors. Even without the AMD drivers it will show 2 processors with Win-XP... as it is available and recongnised by BIOS.

Ah well, being able to laugh at your own self is a good thing I messed up......

but good news, now my core 0 is gaining stability. It passed 1 hrs 30 mins SP2004 stable while earlier at the same settings it didnt pass 1 sec also :hap2: :hap2:
