Hi all,
I was searching for DL +R 8.6 gb Blankmedia but in Delhi atleast, its availability is almost negligible these days. My cousin in US is comeing next week. I w'd greatly appreciate if u people can point me to some good deals over it. I think there must be Blank media less than $1=Rs.45 in 50-100 pkg..... What do u say??

but compatibility is an issue with this media

Verbatim is $20 for 10 ka pack which comes up to be Rs.90 each. Is it a good deal especially now seeing Un-Availability of this media?? last time (4 months back i checked it was for Rs.400 for 1 DVD

Is it available in mumbai for a decent Price??
 
errr...kinda costly i feel.....

you get single layer sony/verbatim/maxell etc etc.. for around 22-26 bucks....a piece... so going for double the capacity at almost 4 times the price aint worth it IMO..

basically you can store more in 90 bucks on good quality media then you can on a single dual layer dvd...

anyways what you want a dual layer for?
 
^ Perhaps, to store a movie... As a 1:1 backup...

Some movies come in dual layer discs :( . Like Kal Ho Naa Ho, I hear it comes in a 7.6GB disc...
 
Ya movie backups are the only reason ppl might go for DL discs....It does not make sense in any other case....Cos 90 bux is too much for a 8.6 Gb of space....
 
I need one 2 for Friends season 10 (7.9 GB :( ) Dealers say if u order in bulk we'll get them else we dont stock them cuz they dont sell. I need it just for this particular thing dammit :@
 
Why dont you contact ankush kukreja from the verbatim thread...he might sell you DL dvds at good rates even single discs possibly..
