Storage Solutions dual layer dvds....

also, r Moserbaer DL DVDs Good?..can i trust them for burning..had some problem burning with those DL DVDs some moons ago..do they work for u guys?

I used to use Moser Baer DL DVD's earlier, but after some of them started failing in between burning sessions, now I have switched to Verbatim which are much more reliable.

I also use MIS Verbs(Not Even a Single failure till date), but they r NOT always avilable..sowas again thinking of MB DL DVDs!

I have used MB, Imation and am now using National:eek:hyeah:
Bought the National for 20 bucks.... very very cheap...and not even a single failure in the 40 odd discs I have burnt in National:hap2:

20 bucks for dual layer? are you sure? or are you talking about regular 4.7GB single layer DVD's.

IMO single layer (4.7GB) itself costs about 15-20 bucks.

National single layer costs around 8-10 bucks locally. So dual layer price is right.

Err the price is right...But ur Logic of deriving the price is wrong:D..Imation single layer dvd costs 10 bucks but dual layer costs 50 bucks... so the logic of doubling the price while doubling the capacity does not hold good:)

that was not the logic. some member mentioned that a single layer costs 15-20 bucks so i just said that since single layer DVD are way cheaper than 15 bucks(almost half) the price is justified.

I have not bought Dual layers so donno the price but if without bargaining i get a national single layer at 8 bucks 20bucks is a possibility.

Well, I am Ready to pay double for Double capacity, Especially when you can keep double data in One Dual Layer DVD than 2 Single layers.... Saves Some Space... ;)

cool.. 20 bucks then its a good price for dual layer dvd's. i bought 2 moser baer single layer DVD's last sunday and it cost me 18 bucks per piece.

i think i should consider national's dual layer dvd's for burning some of my not-so-important data.

Hey did u buy them in Bangalore? If yes where from?

Are these National DL DVD's available at any store in Mumbai? I haven't seen them anywhere. 20 bucks is too good for a DL. I have used National Single layer DVD's and surprisingly have had a better experience with them than even Moser Baer. Not a single failure till date. :)
