I would be Vising Dubai In a month (2nd week of December) , Which places shall i go and where can i find the Cheapest Gadgets Such as Mobile Phones , LCD's Etc .

I plan on bringing a 42 INCH PLASMA or LCD and 2 Cell phones .

PLease advice , also i might be Visiting Singapore And Hongkong Too , so please advice where can i get the cheapest Tech Stuff From

Ps - From My previous Experinence i find that Hongkong has nothing cheap
 
Been to Dubai recently

Nothing is cheap over there ,prices are almost similar to India.

People were saying that you could get TVs for a slightly lower price in CarreFour Mall,but they will surely not be as cheap as Singapore

Try Mustafa Mall or Niranjan's Shop(Ask any1 for Singh Shop near mustafa,dey will guide you der) in Singapore(awesome prices)
 
The LCDs are a grade higher for the same price. I got a 6 series for the price of 5 series in samsung, so you never know.

But I did go during summers so there were some offers going on during that time

Those blokes sell for huge profit margins. All the tiny shops have died. The reason for the price being the same. After all they don't pay any taxes AT ALL!

I got there every year but find nothing worth buying especially now when AED is 14 INR :(

Dude,Singapore is better than hong kong when it comes to TVs
 
Apple products sold online need local credit card and its not practically possible for one to pick from stores,thanks to the mongers who pick up in bulk.
 
With the Rupee falling dramatically, you are better off buying stuff in India. I lived in Dubai for 4 years. There were a bunch of small shops selling computer stuff and electronics in Bur Dubai on Bank Street. But except for the computer stores many of them have moved out by now, last I heard. Every major mall has a hypermarket - most having Carrefours. They are essentially very similar in price, but I found Geant in Ibn Battuta Mall offering some stuff a tad cheaper.
 
try the Desert Safari, Mall of the Emirates (plenty of hi fi stuff and glimpse of the top end cars if u watch the lobby), Wild Wadi, Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, The Palm.... oh all the malls possibly, If you luck sneak into a check if there is the Dubai Aero / Auto Show. Dont miss the Global Village if in time you get there.

Dont get computer stuffs from there, It tad expensive compared to us. If you are a FANBOI of Nokia you could find yourself in some finger licking good deals in the first hand buy and as well as the seconds market.
 
After trolling a few forums , I guess it would be wiser to buy something in INdia Via coupons that would offer the same price

all due to the High DOLLAR/AED/SGD
 
Tv's are still very cheap @ dubai. Mobile phone pricing is equivalent to India. In computers, it depends on the brand. For eg hp or lenovo is way cheaper in dubai than India.
But when it comes to tv's, dubai is still d place.
 
I bought a Samsung 40D503 for 22k INR from Dubai last month. I bought it from Jacky Electronics in Dubai Mall. Also got a free Samsung Guru with the LCD :D
 
my friend bought samsung 32d6000 3d led for 30000+5500 duty for me 1.5 months ago. with international warranty. the market price in India is still 45k+
