Running out of space again on my Headless server :(

have had enough of adding more hard drives, since it's a never ending cycle and finally decided to delete the useless and DVD archive the worthwhile stuff

Now writing to a DVD on my desktop/laptop over a LAN connection is painful so thinking of plonking a drive in the headless server itself

Which brings me to my question
Since it's a headless server, is there a DVD writing application for Ubuntu that also provides a web UI?

Best would be to watch and delete..i've never seen any show twice except first 2 eps of heroes and 1ep of terminator and pb..

And stil have all the series:(

Watch and delete..Rest if you want you can burn over lan while browsing, much better than going to the headless rig and then burning it?

Wats the problem in burning over lan?

Cant you access it normally via freenx / Remote desktop ?

never heard of a dvd burner with a webui

There are some movies (and a few series like firefly) that I'd rather retain

Burning over LAN takes forever

At a thoroughput of 3-4 MB/s, it takes nearly half an hour to burn one DVD

Of course I can, and that's how I've been burning DVDs as of now, but I'd still prefer something with a Web UI, seems likere there aren't any
