PC Peripherals DVD Drive Suggestion

I need a new DVD Drive... Suggest me a good one available in Delhi... Both ROM And Writer along with aproxximate prices...

dvd writer benq 1620 .. no need to have 2nd thoughts about getting this

its between 4500 and 5000

rom wise any lite on or such will do. i have a samsung its great for dvds but not so good while working with regular cds

the benq costs 4050 here in bbay, 2 years warranty mostly. or u can go for pioneer which is also great.

i just got the jlms 166 dvdrom, seems to be working fine & reading fast.

You mean avoid the 1621 at all costs . The 1611/1612 are rebadged Lite-On drives - v.good.

hmm....i've never seen a 1611 or a 1612 in the last 3 years :S

Sony 720-b or benQ 1620

Sony --> rs. 5k
Benq --> rs. 4.5K (thats MRP, so we can get at a much lower rate)

U can get the LiteOn 1673S for abt 4.2k

i use lg 4160.
No probs so far.
Never had a single coaster. Faster than benq too.
