Is it worth to buy Hifi - DVD/CD Players/AVR from US?
Some concerns:
* Warranty encouraged here in india?
* Is it region free? If not, how to make it region free?
* Except some pioneer region free players, other i suppose are region coded. So how do we make it region free?
Some US sites offer such players at low cost when compared here. DENON, NAD are good brands/quality.
Example DENON 1940CI is retailing at apprx 90$. Adding shipping + excise still gets reasonably lower price when compared to items sold here. The warranty for such electronics is usually 1 year.
20north and some other sites does ship to india. But they do only shipping. So technical parts like region free code enable etc needs to be taken care by us.
Any one brought such products? Do share your experience.
