somehow my dvd-r (LITEON-SOHD-167T) Can't seem to read data towards the edges of the dvd's , if i try creating an image to the HDD, the drive reads well to about 50- 60 % and then stops.......i tried cleaning the lens and all yet the problem persists, I have heard about the "misalignment" thing, is it because of that? can it be corrected, or am i going to finally have to buy a new DVD-RW ?
and yes, somehow, my dvd-r seems to have a problem with digit dvd's because it can't even read them stably @ all, and hangs trying to autoplay the disc.....the data transfer rate, even if i disable the autorun, is still poor.
