u plannin to buy writer? i think its better to buy dvd writer than rom. not much difference in prices

The 8X DVD burners are rare, but you can still find a few from Lite-On that can burn DVDs at 8X and read and write CDs at 40X. At just over 3K they aren't a bad buy at all.

Want only read. To play movies and games. writer is cost very much for me.

Your prices are off.. the Benq 1620Pro is 3800 for a 16X drive with 4X +R DL capability.
