Storage Solutions DVDs Not Readable

I have backed-up a lot of my Important Data on DVDs, they're in Pristine Condition as I have stored them carefully.

My Own Sony DVD RW seemed to've died (after about ~5 Years of use) as it wasnt detecting anything.

So i borrowed a friends ~6 months old Sony DRU-190A RW,

It detects some DVDs (so i'm able to copy the stuff on it) & dosent detect most others.

What options do i have besides trying the undetectable ones on other DVD drives?
