Might interest some of you.....

"E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy is a FPS/RPG on PC, with a solo campaign, a cooperative campaign (from 2 to 4 players) and a special cooperative missions mode (4 players recommended, but can be played up to 8 players). That playable in Lan or on the Internet, with the possibility of having dedicated servers."

FS rating (80/100)-

"E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy is an FPS/RPG set in a fantasy-cyberpunk universe featuring persistent character progression and fast-paced combat with up to four (or more) people playing cooperatively. Its gameplay is driven by the sort of twitch shooter/melee action you’ve come to expect from Source titles, combined with an extensive and varied arsenal of cybernetic abilities and psychic powers."

Gamespy rating (4/5)-

"Bennett Ring, Editor in Chief: With the announcement of every new game accompanied by 40 press releases, 17 Spielberg-produced trailers, and the occasional 21-gun salute, it's not often that a game worth playing slips beneath my radar. Yet the first I heard of E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy -- an eight-player indie co-op first-person shooter/role-playing game, crafted by a dozen dedicated modders in France -- was when it popped up on my Steam storefront. Little did I know, it would turn out to be the best $20 that I'll spend in 2011. Dylan, had you heard anything that prepared you for this little indie delight?"

Come on guys, is it really that bad? Looked kinda interesting to me actually. I thought maybe some of you "co-op" fans would be interested. Granted its not going to win any graphical awards considering its based on Source but still. Only concern is the Steam forums have some complaints regarding some bugs in the game...

Game features -

- Multiplayer co-op modes directly influence solo play, and vice-versa. The limits of solo and multiplayer games are finally left behind.
Psychological and mental trauma management.

- 25 weapons, different shooting modes, dynamic precision, drilling shots, iron sighting, extended zoom.

- Complete hacking system with game play impact

- 9 devastatingly subtle PSI powers.

- More than 20 NPC with non-scripted, fully reactive and efficient AI, endowed with a sense of initiative. Bloody close combat with technical detail. Incredible physical movement realism thanks to Source Engine physics.

- Excellent replayability - primary and secondary missions, dynamic environments, non-linear level progression, and random NPC spawn, type and appearance. Death doesn't penalize players: no need to restart the current mission.

- Open-level gameplay for hours of fun without reloading.

Honestly, before I try a game I check for quick reviews and ratings from some popular sites (very very subjective!) such as IGN, Metacritic, Eurogamer, Bit-Gamer etc. Besides indie games generally do not tend to disappoint but turns out whatever few reviews this game has had by far, I thought I'd give it a miss.

Here's another review from Bit-Tech - EYE: Divine Cybermancy Review | bit-gamer.net

Not very promising either. Wonder if anyone else on the forum gave this a shot!
