Hi folks ...
Have been lurking around here for about an month and a half I guess and have just about learned that what I need is a E6400 processor with a lil bit of OC.
Now, I know lil to nothing about OC. As for boards, I live in Kuwait where we do not have too many options! First thing therefore is a request to suggest a couple of boards ... with as much details as possible so that I can go hunting for them!
Next thing ... yeah, I'll need some pointers on how to OC, but since I'm new to this, am a little scared! Therefore, nominal OC will be fine for now! One question I would really like to have an answer to is "Can I OC keeping the normal fan that comes with the processor?". If yes, how much can I take the E6400 up to? ... again, don't take me to the extreme too fast ... easy does it
I gues with my conservative approach and fear, I may not OC much and hence a board suited to those need may suffice ... I guess!
Will really appreciate any help you'll can give to a beginner .. a helping hand and a step by step guide
Thanks a lot and Cheers
