Thats why I ask for the testing we can trust. The plan is to run Orthos for 1 hour on each CPU and monitor the idle and load temps.

If I remember correctly, there is a prob with e8400 core temp sensors.
 
The mentioned FAN do not look like worth taking at all.

Added temperature details, if someone still want the CPU, let me know.
 
Thats kind of late.

I went and picked up 1 Q9450 for mutant and 1 E8400 for PoBoy and wouldnt like to spend time in going/testing processors anymore. I am unsure

These were the only people who actually confirmed and had the money ready.

Moreover I am unsure if there are any processors remaining with him.

@Cursed:- Is E8400 still available or even E8500?if yes count me in badly need one have asked so many dealer's including Amarbir,pheonix but they dont have Either E8500 or E8400 instock :S

If you know someone has any of these proccy in retail(Box packed with warranty and all) do let me know.thanks :)
