Lot of articles but most of them being useless.
It was successful in past but now I cannot do the same.

There was some simple trick, but out of mind now.

what do you want to do? be descriptive. this forum is not an sms or tweet which limits the amount of text you can fill in the post.

Do you want to share youtube video links from computer to watch in your phone?
If you want this then no need to install anything. You can just login to the same google account in pc and phone and add the videos you want to watch in "watch later" list. There is a watch later button near all videos. You can click on that in youtube app in phone or pc and can watch the videos in that list in any device if the account you signed into is the same one.

Do you want to share files and documents between phone and computer through wifi in the same network?
there are free and not free apps for this. Lot of ways to do this.
 
There was an easy way to connect PC to mobile,
Just via sharing codes on same wifi
(computer XYZ connected to central network via ethernet, and mobile phone connected to same computer XYZ wifi, via connectify, INBUILT WIFI features on motherboard)

I tried searching places, but couldnt work it out again..

Ty for help..
Youtube app on mobile, made everything possible on computer XYZ..
