Ebay apad @5990 dilemma

Hi

I bought the below product from ebay for Rs.5990 :
eBay India: Google Android Tablet Netbook PC aPad MID 7" UMPC iCOD (item 160521420578 end time 21-Jan-2011 09:00:00 IST)

recd the product but its crap. Screen is poor . Touchscreen useless and pathetic speed.
Now the seller is forcing me to go for :
eBay India: 10" 1GHz Google Android 2.1 Tablet Netbook PC aPad iCOD (item 170581487346 end time 21-Jan-2011 09:00:00 IST)

Have any of u guys seen or used this. I have to get a portable tablet pc immediately. Ipad 16gb wifi is arnd 25k but cannot use use modem in this. Ipad 16gb 3g is 31k and out of my budget.

Pls advise guys as I need to buy a portable tablet immediately.

my advice stay away from these, as they don't last long and you will have reliability issues, better to take a refund and wait for a better product to come out.

I second this. Its the same shit that you got the first time but this time its got a bigger screen and a faster cpu. Why do you want to pay more and get a bigger piece of junk? Accept your losses and try and sell it.
 
Insist on a Refund only. Take help from ebay representatives if seller is forcing you into buying another substandard product and not giving refund.
 
Ok Thanks guys then I wud have to look for an ipad 3g 16gb I guess...

BTW, seller says the screen of 10.2 " is 1024x600 TFT Lcd. and model is Zenithone 180
 
These are many fakes who claim to be same as famous models. It would be always better to buy from somewhere where you have good user base and support on their firmwares/forums.

I had bought G10 from PandaWill and I am very happy with that. It's an excellent piece with good build quality and have good support. I would suggest you to stay from ebay for such items, and you can try to look at mp4nation.net or pandawill or any other site where you get very good backup from huge customers.
 
that DOW chinees apad is total crap, runs on android 1.6, useless touch screen overall 0/10 for it, get refund instead of wastin 4000 more on 10.2" crap pad

Thanks. Hows the screen quality of G10. Is it usable in sunlight...
 
this G10 is usable in car and normal sun light. We cant compare this with PQ based screens, but I am pretty using it everyday in car. There is a GPS dongle and I am using the navigation and some cool Car specific apps from android market.
 
You get what you pay for - I'd recommend getting a Galaxy Tab if you need something urgently, it's a bit cheaper than the iPad + you can root and do basically whatever you want to with it.

OR if you can wait, wait for the Adam by Notion Ink - but judging by the fact you need it asap, I guess it's ruled out.
 
^ I may not agree that you get for what you pay. If you see the user community of Galaxy Tab, there are hundreds of issues with it. I myself personally compared the build quality of Galaxy and G10, and I felt that G10 is way better. But, Galaxy tab is being backed up by good service from samsung. Other than that one positive point, I don't think that it's worth that money.

What phone do you use ? You can get the Ipad wifi and use your phone's net on the ipad if your phone has wifi too :) [This is for most phones ]
