I need some info on the same too. Can we open it and upgrade the ram. And is the warranty valid in India?
I'm planning to get the same, add another 4GB stick and replace the optical drive with a 128GB SSD.

If anyone has purchased it, please share info regarding its battery life and heating characteristics.
 
i saw some video on the wild.. to replace ram you need to dis-assemble almost the whole laptop...i also was going to purchase it.. but coz of that i didn't...
