I have recently ordered the following item through ebay.co.uk and it was very much cheaper (11.98 GBP, around Rs.830) than anywhere I have seen (unfortunately the listing is now over) !

New S9-HD Bluetooth Headphone Headset S9HD For Motorola on eBay (end time 05-May-10 23:46:22 BST)

The seller has told me clearly that it will take 3 weeks to reach here. Anyway I thought of giving a try to an international purchase :D

Any idea, if I have to pay any customs for this? And what is the limit for customs?
Also, please post any good deals that you find in this site, as I feel there are really good items competitively priced here, although shipping might take some time !!

Anyway the risk is taken, hope it comes out good :)
 
Oh!! then I will just expect to get the product in good working condition, not going to expect original one !!

Did u buy them from the same seller as mine?

He has 100% feedback, so hope he ll keep his word !!
 
BTW, Can you pls tell me what is the difference between OEM and Original one?
I thought OEM was original :huh:, me stupid :ashamed:, I ll learn from the mistake :)

yeah you are right and usps takes almost a month.

For me HK mail always reaches in 15 days flat.

OEM means the original product without documentation and original packaging.

OEM Motorola S9 is same as Motorola S9 with original packaging and documentation.
 
but, whatever it may be, they work as promised. I had bought the similar one from DealExtreme and have been using it for almost 8 months without any problems.

I wanna know what is the limit for applicability of customs ?

I am planning to order stuff from hong kong ebay, but want to ascertain if customs duty would be levied. So far I have got mixed views from different people.

My understanding is that ~30% customs duty is applicable to all purchases.

Anyone having more info, pls share

my friend bought same thing.. he recieved some crappy chineese stuff. now he wants refund. wich will take another 1-2 months. :P

never trust such dealers from eBay international as shipping back stuff is very much High for Indians. :)
 
Hi anyone have any experience buying some automotive parts from uk ebay, how much will shipping cost try sea if the parts are around 20 kilos .
 
^ :O Customs itself will cost too much.

AFAIK, customs on imported vehicles is around 105-140%. No idea about individual parts.
