Hi all, I finally made an account at eBay India's site and found something I like. Trouble is, the item page, there is not button saying "BUY", I mean how to buy items there? What are payment options other than Paisa Pay as I have no Credit Card and no money in PayPal. :ashamed: How does this Paisa pay works?

Item I want to buy is this. :ashamed:

^that item is for bidding.

you cant buy until you win the bid. keep a watch on the item, bid at the last moment for desirable price.

Other item info

Item number: 140368572892

Item location: NJ, United States

Ships to: India

beware...you may have to pay alot for custom duty clearance...

Thank you folks for helping me. So about payment, how can I pay since I don't have a Credit Card nor money in PayPal?

About reputed seller, How to find this out?

Debit card. That's what I use. It's very easy once you have you use online banking.

You'll have reputation of the user indicated on the right hand side. It should be reflected in numerical percentage.

Oh I do have a Debit Card, NetBanking on my account and I even have linked my bank account with my PayPal account.

Indian Bank account linked to paypal is useless. You cannot pay from it. You can use your debit card on ebay hassle free. I always use Debit card only. PLUS paisapay makes sure you are protected. Hence always go with paisapay only and not cheques/DD even if you get an extra discount from the seller.

is there the option of direct cash transfer to the sellers account on ebay / (Mediahome.in)

You can use coupons only if you use paisa pay...not by direct deposit and NEFT transfer...

@OP: I suggest you not buy the PS3 from the US. You do not get Sony India Warranty for the PS3. Should something go wrong you're in deep shit! Not to mention any customs duties it may attract. Spend 3k more and buy the console from praashant. Cant get any cheaper.

Alternately ask him to list it on ebay, use the Xmas deal, get the 80GB RAID STORE drive free with the purchase and save an additional 2k by selling it off.

^^ LOL take a load of this MBA! Nice Idea m8 but seriously if I had that much cash, I wouldn't even go on eBay. My folks made me spend 50K of my own money on teh bling last month :@

^Are you sure Prashant does not have a stock of the older 80GB models? Forget bundled games. The console alone should be cheap now. If you're willing to spend 15k for a console from the US, can't you spend 2k more to buy it off ebay India?

Actually that product got International warranty. so no issues on warranty.

Its a good deal. But i am sure it would go above 18k int he last moment. so better you buy from india.

Well, I have decided to wait a bit more. Will buy PS3 l8r but what I want to know is that can I carry out transactions using me HDFC Debit Card only on eBay? To do that will I have to register for Paisa Pay?
My Credit Card has been denied by HDFC as my status there is of Student.

umm I have some prob with ebay and don't want to make a new thread so posting it here, hope its fine with OP.

Well I got a 20% 500rs coupon on making an a/c today but am unable to use it. I am getting the following error message "Sorry, you do not meet the eligibility criteria for gift voucher / promotion code xxxxxxxxx. Please try another voucher / promotion code or continue with your payment"

this coupon is valid only for today.

That probably means he can avail warranty by sending it back to the vendor. Make no mistake, No Sony India service center is going to touch it if he ever runs into problems.
