Ebay payment problem

I tried to buy an item from ebay using my icici debit card. after showing payment processing page, it came right back to payment page and shows payment cannot be processed at this time or something. but the item amount got deducted from my account. now i dont have paisapay confirmation or anything from ebay saying money was deducted except the icici bank ebay transaction number with me.

how do i get the money back? and in how many days? i tried calling their call center, but its busy as hell. i didnt email cause probably they'll reply after 2-3 days if they feel like. the online chat says wait for 45 minutes. :(
 
Don't worry.. you will get the money back. happened to me couple of times. You might get them with in a week or 10 days.
 
what is the procedure? i just sent them a mail explaining the situation. actually i wanted the monitor badly since i used a 1k off coupon :P
 
firefox. i didnt get any error with icici using ff browser till now. all my ebay buys, i bought using firefox all these years without facing problems. except once 2yrs back when their payment system (like now) did not work properly with icici.
 
They have been facing plenty of issues with the netbanking / debit card gateways of late. Chances are they will contact you for a copy of your debit card and statement and then will get it verified with the bank.
 
Hey, regarding your coupon, you can still use it with out any issues, if there is no entry in their DB for your purchase.If there is an entry, be happy that you get that item soon.

I am sure there will be no entry. to check this,wait for 2-3 hrs and give a try to purchase the item again..

You don't even have to call them/mail them for refund.. you get it in 10 days.
 
I have had no problems using ICICI netbanking/debit card transactions using firefox(it's my favourite browser(. For me personally, ICICI gateway works better than Axis bank gateway!!
 
It happened to me once (with the ICICI debit card itself). I got my money back in 3-4 days. I was surprised to see the money back in my account in only 3-4 days.

Same for me happened buddy. just fired a mail to them and should see what they are going to do. Being a big online site, they should look after all this type of problems. This is the first time for me too.

For some reason eBay never accepts my debit card. I have tried on FF/Chrome/Opera/IE (all updated and patched). I do the payment gateway transaction, and when it comes back to eBay it shows "payment not made". Luckily the payment debit never happens. It works fine with SBI debit, and with my CC. Weird. So have stopped trying my CITI debit. Not sure why it glitches out. On any other debit card enabled site, the same card is just fine.

i guess it means "THAT" particular card has been blacklisted for some reason
varkey can provide some enlightenment here
 
^ Don't think that's the reason, even if its blacklisted the payment is accepted, it is only after few hours that they suspend the account! ;)

Why would they black list it on eBay. All my transactions have been perfect, and my ratings are fine. I have only purchased. Does not make sense. :)

Ha Ha same here my SBI CC blacklisted , lost 8/9 accounts by the time i realised its the CC which is getting my accounts suspended.

Well, my CC is blacklisted, and if I make any payment using it, the account gets suspended within 24 hours and the reason given is 'Abusing eBay Policies'. :P

Nothing like that happens to my card. I just does not work on eBay, elsewhere it is fine. ;)
