I need an application which can be used to download ebooks, or any links to download ebooks for free? ( in pfd format, or reading on the internet)

there are many sites which offer free non-DRM ebooks

like http://www.gutenberg.org/ for one (just make a google search)

there is no universal application to read ebooks as they come in a multitude of types (.epub, .pdf, .mobi .cbr, .cbz, .djvu)

each type of ebook is associated with a different application

however if you want a jack of all formats you can download CDisplayex, though primarily associated only with comics, it can read virtually any ebook format)
