CPU/Mobo Economical Mobo that can OC opty 170 a bit

Hello every1,

Could you guys please help me find a Mobo that can safely OC opty 170 upto 2.4 Ghz within 5k.

Also I have this Foxconn Mobo that I want to give away. .

^^You can run the proccy on the foxconn and even overclock it upto 250 HTT i guess. But overclocked stability ain't guaranteed. Better get an A8N-E if you have the remotest inclination to overclock.

sure u can run the opty on the foxconn at stock speeds ..there will be no issues .. its only that , its not an overclockers board .. dipdude has had amazing success with it though and has overclocked his 3000+ with stability to 2.5 ghz ..

at stock there will not be any issues whatsoever.

Darky has done his Opty 170 oc'ing on that board only.... the A8N32 SLI premium.

A very good board!!!

Even the regular A8N SLI premium is a good board.

With 5K as budget dont expect anything better than ASUS A8N-E.
