Well ive been wanting new speakers for a while, but budget has always been an issue and I dont think ill have 10k for decent speakers for a while yet. Anyhow I plan to get ram cpu cooler and an ssd so good speakers are a way off as the mentioned bits will prolly set me back 20-30k total.

Now I listen to classical rock and instrumental type stuff, and modern rock and alternative ..... all this on some basic creative 2.0's that I picked up for 600-800 bucks 5-6 years ago. I know I know shame on me.

So ive been lusting after the Edifier R1900T but thats a fair bit out of my budget and too heavy if I have to ask someone to get it for me. R1200T is ideally what I would want and if I could get that thats what I would pull the trigger on, reviews say they are very good speakers for the price.

I have only been able to find this so far

Its an el cheapo option but it should be a big upgrade from what im using and it costs next to nothing. Thoughts and does anyone know if R1200T is available here and its price. Also is that site reliable ?

Thanks all.

Thats their site you guys should check their range out reviews claim that their stuff is definetly better than logitech stuff and their higher end stuff is really really good better than Audioengine Maudio etc etc, dont quote me on that its just what ive come across randomly while reading through review and forum posts.

Hahaha. Exact same situation I must say. And 9/10 chances are you too would have been using the engineering marvel we call Creative EP-630. Cheap, effective and AMAZING quality for Rock music at least.

The R1600T looks good!

Yea only problem is that site looks like a gaurenteed dud, hopefully ill be able to find R1200 , R1600 on a legit site.
