Is there any reason why I'm unable to edit my posts. I did peek at the rules but I couldn't find any definite answers there.

Is it because I'm a new member?

To edit the posts you need a min. of some 35 posts and be a member here for some n days. Also yu can edit the post only with in 1 hr of posting originally.

I find it pretty silly to make a rule that one can edit post after 35 posts. I am curious.

I too am curious to know the logic behind such a rule !!

if you make a mistake in your post 1 hr is good enough to spot and fix it. each post taking 2 min, 35 will surely take more than an hour. nobody posts that fast.

and i guess it is in place for good. So that people dont just change their opinions on something and later say "I never said so"
