Effects of shadows n blending changes on a closeup pic.

Well nothing too special, was just fiddling around with shadown n highlights and various blending options (multiply, screen, etc etc) and endep up with a really beautiful effect (purely IMHO ofcourse )

after chopping:


almost has a serene portrait-ish glow to it.

p.s: i suggest u guys take a look at the enlarged versions if u got the time
some comments would help.

Try adding about 2 radius of gaussian blur to it and set it to overlay or screen, then see

i found that screen always makes the pic lighter.

but overlay, came out to be cool

overlay pwns dude,try making a duplicate layer and doin glowing edges to it and then doin screen/overlay etctec
