El Cheapo Sound Card

hey guys iam in desperate need for a reallly reallly chep sound card

it should support 5.1 channel speakers and my budget is 500rs

Spend 1.5k and get yourself a Xonar DG. Ask around, and they will tell you that it is worth the price.

thanks for the suggestion but i need something which costs much cheaper than that i want something temporarly not permanently when i upgrade my rig ill defnetley buy that one anyhow can you suggest me some really cheap sound card which is around my biudget range

I'm guessing your speakers would only work on 2 channel with that since it lacks the connectors for proper 5.1, you might want to consider the zebronics option instead

Hell, if you want that type, can get you one for around 120, give or take a few bucks. Saw it in LR, roadside. Am planning to turn my router into a MPD, so was looking for a USB 2 channel soundcard!
