Eliminating dust in room - air purifier?

You will need a bigger one than that tiny object. Keeping windows closed won't help, since dust is present everywhere. Even walls throw cement dust after few years.
 
welcome to my favorite pet peeve ever... I literally get mindf*cked with this same issue.. but apart from a vaccum run every 3-4 days or so.. I haven't found a better alternate except to keep the room closed most of the time n run the AC.

Someone recommended i get a carpet done for my room cos usually any airborne dust does get caught by the carpet but then you need to vaccum the carpet and maintain it too.

i had the euroair 2000 some years back mainly for smoking usage in the room, it would absorb the smoke pretty well when kept near the smoker. It was effective as when i could clean the filters, i could see dust being accumulated in the filters. seems like eureka forbes makes more advanced machines now. Not sure how effective they are.
 
I am not that technical, but the air purifier makes the dust particles heavy which settle down to make the air purified. Something like negative positive ion combination. But that shall settle more dust on things making the air more purer, that's why it's called air purifier.
