Enabling GPRS in Iphone 2g ?

Does anyone know how to enable GPRS(read Airtel MyOffice) in iphone 2g.....There was some field i used to edit and add some text but can't find it after updating to FW 2.0.1.

That field goes away in firmware 2.0 and above.

What u need to do is:
1. Get access to a wi-fi internet connection
2. Through wi-fi visit APN Changer on your iPhone
3. Follow the wizard on the site to create a GPRS profile for your iPhone.

Or install "APN Editor" from cydia and you can change it like you used to prior to 2.x firmware

Yes, I think the settings are pre-configured for Airtel and Vodafone users.

There is no reason why it shouldnt. However, BPL's plans are quite expensive.

Works without any configuration on Airtel and vodafone as they are the official carriers in India
