Yesterday was an eventfull day in the English Premier League.
The winner in Champions League went down & loser went ahead.

Yes , Real Madrid's conquerors Arsenal went down 1-0 to Blackburn Rovers in the English Premiership on Saturday while Leaders Chelsea recovered from their defeat to Barcelona with a shaky 2-0 win over Portsmouth to extend their lead lead on second-placed Manchester United to 15 points.

Honours for Chelsea was done by England midfielder Frank Lampard (65') and Netherlands winger Arjen Robben (78')
and for
Blackburn Rovers it was Morten Gamst Pedersen (18').

Birmingham City beat Sunderland 1-0 in their relegation scrap, Emile Heskey grabbing the goal, and Charlton Athletic were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Aston Villa.

Nolberto Solano(64',76') brought Everton's unbeaten Premiership run to a halt to seal Newcastle United's fourth victory in five games.
